USEFUL TIP
MOUSE TRIPLE-CLICK

IN WEB BROWSERS

Mouse triple-click feature is implemented in all major web browsers. Try this feature by triple-clicking at any place within this paragraph to get it selected. Yeah, it's awesome! Try it on any other paragrapgh, big or small, to prove the concept. A little bit more tricky part is to select the paragraph with hyperlinks: in order to avoid page redirection, point the cursor slightly to the right of the "hot spot" and then triple-click. Try it on the hyperlink: This is hyperlink to the online App store: triple-click to the right of the link.

MOUSE TRIPLE-CLICK IN TEXT EDITORS

In text-editors such as Microsoft Word™ or WordPad™, single mouse click moves the caret at the cursor’s point, while double-click causes the selection of the entire word. Mouse triple-click selects entire paragraph if placed within or at the right margin of the paragraph; it selects entire document if pointed at the left margin (like Ctrl+A shortcut).

CAUTION: CLICK RESPONSIBLY

Please be aware, that continuous repetitive mouse operations could cause muscle fatigue, wrist pain and even certain medical conditions, such as tunnel carpal syndrome. To reduce the risk of such complications use the ergonomically-designed keyboard/mouse and try to limit daily computer operations to the safe level. For better user experience, adjust the mouse double-click event responsiveness up to your maximun convenience.

Also, consider the alternative (or complementary) solution of using voice input (i.e. speech recognition) in a command/dictation mode.
